I bought this Alexander Henry fabric several years ago. I cut the pieces for a stack and whack quilt (still unassembled), then came across this little pattern and realized I had enough fabric to do both. This was my first attempt at hand applique with freezer paper--surprisingly fun! It's going to a baby shower tomorrow for a June baby boy.

I'm sure the mom-to-be will LOVE it. It's adorable! I have a funky monkey quilt top that's been in my closet for months now. This reminds me I need to get it out and finish it! :)
ack! i saw it. i thought adorable. but am not the only/first on. so, a really darling quilt. i'm sure it's new owner loves it.
