Just when I needed some inspiration for a new sewing project, Elizabeth at Oh, Fransson has begun a quilt-along. I'm thinking my lovely stack of Kona solids, a recent treat from Pink Chalk Fabrics, is going to be perfect for the Mod Sampler Quilt.

Good Morning- i love reading you blog. You are very creative and I am so inspired by your work. I love the pillows you just made. I would love to learn to quilt and knit but I need more time and an excellent teacher!
I wanted to let you know I have sent you an award- Check out my blog.
Have a great day!

How funny! We were both on the same wavelength here. :) I also decided to use Kona fat quarters from Pink Chalk Fabrics for this quilt. But I've gone with a print sashing to help mix it up.
I love the direction you decided to go with... the floral linens are so fabulous with the solids.
